Important information about this site

This site will introduce you to the activities of the band and the competitions, carnivals and fairs that we take part in. There are news items relevant to the band's activites, and piping in general. You will find photos, recordings, and video clips in various formats. We also maintain a library of tunes that we play. Added to this is information and tutorials on piping, drumming and instrument maintenance, and of course the ubiquitous links to other sites of interest.

Proprietory material

This site contains a lot of proprietory material, (c) City of Exeter Pipes and Drums. It also contains copyright material in the form of music, photos and videos, not all of it belonging to the band. As such we would ask that you act responsibly and do not in any way copy material from this site, publishing or storing it elsewhere in any form, without obtaining permission from the band or its sources. The music supplied is not always the original setting, so care should be taken over its use. We would ask that if you play with another band, you at least check the arrangement with your own Pipe Major before using it. This is plain courtesy to your Pipe Major who will not look kindly upon you learning a tune in a different way to the rest of the band!
