8. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
 
8.1 The AGM of the Band shall be held not later than the end of November each year. At least 21 days notice of the AGM shall be sent to every Member. Members must advise the Secretary in writing or by e-mail of any business to be moved at the AGM at least 14 days in advance of the AGM.
8.2 The business of the AGM shall be to:
8.2.1 Confirm the minutes of the previous AGM. The minutes of the AGM shall be confirmed at the next AGM.
8.2.2 Receive the examined accounts from the Treasurer.
8.2.3 Receive the annual report of the Executive Officers.
8.2.4 Receive the reports from any Sub-committee.
8.2.5 Elect the Officers.
8.2.6 Appoint an Independent Auditor.
8.3 Nomination of candidates for all elected posts shall be made in writing or by e-mail to the Secretary at least 14 days in advance of the AGM. At least one week before the AGM takes place, the Secretary shall circulate to all Members the nominees, proposers and seconders for each post along with the Agenda for the AGM. Nominations shall only be made by Full Members and seconded by Full Members. If no nominations are received in advance, nominations may be accepted from the floor at the AGM.
8.4 Where there is more than one nomination for a single post, a secret ballot shall be held at the same meeting
