If you wish to join us why not contact us for an invitation visit to a practice session? You
will find us at Countess Weir School every Wednesday between 6:30pm and 9:30pm. The
Wyvern Barracks practices every Thursday between 6:30pm and 9:00pm are
currently inactive. Wyvern Barracks is in any event a secure site and a visit must be organised via the band on an
invitation basis. We do however hold informal interviews for membership at any time, so just give us a call. You do
not have to have any Scottish ancestral ties whatsoever. All you need is a keen desire to learn either the Great
Highland Bagpipe or Scottish Pipe Band Drumming, a very understanding partner (or parents), high doses of
committment, and a good sense of humour!
