2007 

What an eventful year, in every sense of the word. One of our busiest ever, which is a tribute to the entire band. No.2 uniforms were upgraded and renewed, a long overdue action. The highlight for some of us had to be the visit to Ypres, and many thanks have to be given to those who stayed at home and covered the two carnivals, together with visiting guests. We've seen some players move to new pastures, and others take their place. Ken Garden has been promoted Pipe Corporal, a superb addition to the NCO camp. In general the weather was kind to us which in itself is no small miracle here in the UK. Another year to be proud of certainly. P/M Colin Opie
