The music of the City of Exeter Pipes and Drums

Before anything else, please review the About page of this website and take special notice of the expected use of the music given here. Please act responsibly.

How to...

The band music is available publicly in PDF and MIDI format. Band members may also sign in and obtain individual tunes in BWW or Electric Pipes formats.

The Acrobat PDF file may be opened for reading simply by clicking on the appropriate icon. Once opened in this way, the reader program menu options can be used to save or print the contents, and so on.

MIDI files can be played on any computer with suitable music player software installed (eg. Winamp). Just click on the corresponding 'play' icon beside the music title. Note these are digitised samples corresponding to a single instrument, not true sounds as you would hear from the band playing as a whole. They are there to give you an idea only. Band practices are the only way to be sure of playing the tune correctly!

If you do not have an Acrobat Reader installed on your computer you may download one free from Adobe™.

If you need a good music player, may we suggest  . Download it for free. The one and only player you are ever likely to need (well, certainly for these tunes anyway).

Revision notes

This "2008" Revision of tunes comprises the current Standard Settings of Music for the band, as compiled by P/M Colin Opie. This will be updated from time to time as the repertoire further expands. Band members can update their music folder contents from here.
