Over the weekend there will be the massed bands at the unveiling of the new monument, an evening tattoo, a dawn walk along the roads and lanes used by the forces in 1917, and a memorial service at the same time as the battle engagement.

There will also be a full Highland games event on the Sunday afternoon.

The band rehearses in Countess Weir School, Exeter, on Wednesdays between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, and Wyvern Barracks, Exeter, on Thursdays between 6:30pm and 9:00pm.
