Testimonials

Just a few of the many thankyou notes we have received from Organisers and listeners, since Pipe Major Colin Opie took over the reigns.

festivalExeter Autumn Festival 2008:

Dear Sir, I took this photo whilst on a trip to Exeter with my Mum and Dad, my husband and my two boys. You had all been in Exeter a few weeks earlier when I visited with my husband and I so wanted you to be there as my Mum and Dad and lads were with us this time. By chance we were in Princesshay when you started to tune up, and I was so pleased. We did some shopping and you all gathered by the tree. Bagpipe music always brings a tear to my eye, I love it. It brings back memories of lovely holidays with my family in Edinburgh and Dumfries. I hope you like the picture. I sent it to my Mum and Dad who live in Stoke. They keep mentioning the day out to Exeter and seeing you all. Many thanks to you all for keeping this music and art alive here in Devon. God Bless,
Evette Lewis
