General interest
If you are a visitor to this site, please look out for us playing up and down Exeter High
Street in November in support of the Exeter Autumn Festival. Come and say hello.
Band trip 2011
This will be
to Normandy for June 4th-6th to join in the Bill Millin's Memorial on Sword beach and parade in Caen. Details
can be found on the Pipefest website. Those going know who they are, but any questions please contact Colin or
Lewis. We have a full piping weekend, both on the Saturday and Sunday, so please make sure uniforms (No.1) and
instruments are up to scratch. Uniforms for travel will be No.2 day dress with casual (band T-shirt style) tops.
We will be practising the Pipefest tunes on coming practice nights. The scores for these tunes can be downloaded
from the Pipefest site.

** NEWS **
Change to Sidmouth Charity Event date in timetable for 2011. Please take a look and
enter in your diaries. |

The events page shows how the season has firmed up in terms of dates. It is
imperitive that players make themselves available for as many of these events as they possibly can. Do not assume
someone else will cover! Although most of the current events are firm, new events are added as they come in, so
please keep an eye on that page and ammend your diaries accordingly.
We have had tremendous seasons and my thanks to all those who have turned up and made each occasion
the success it undoubtedly was.
Slainte, P/M Colin Opie

practices
Band practices continue on Wednesdays at the school. There are currently no Thursday practices in Wyvern
Barracks. Please make every effort to attend these practices as appropriate. We are consolidating and extending
the repertoire so please keep up with all tunes.
